I can hardly believe that in only a couple of weeks it will be the longest day. For me that means the National Patchwork Championship quilt show at Sandown Park, Esher is just around the corner – not just in time, but also literally. Val: Interesting who you can meet in a garage forecourt. I was on my way yesterday morning to a sewing day with friends at a location in Wimbledon, SW London and on the way stopped at the garage for an early cappucino. Val: The girls from Diversity have launched their new exhibition, called 'Anthology' at Norden Farm in Maidenhead (details in the Small Ads section of the website). Running a little late this month and I'm going to blame it on the ashcloud!! I was forced to reschedule a getaway to sit in the sun to one that we could drive to, still sit in the sun but I had no internet access – how shocking is that!
