Art and Imagery in Stitch Textiles with Sandra Meech

This workshop will make the connection between the images we take for inspiration, the drawing and painting we do for fun and their important connection to fabric and stitch. Exploring different art and surface materials as well as mixed media collage and composition we work through a series of drawing, painting exercises on a personal theme. Transfer dyes on cloth are combined with drawings and imagery into final stitched pieces with wireform included for dimension.
