Oriental Gems - a needlefelted pattern by Maggie Davies

This stunning picture has been made with hand needlefelting and is particularly dramatic with the dark background;  obviously a change of colour would give a completely different look.   Merino wool on wool felt.   Again Maggie has used this pattern as an excuse to include embellishments and creates texture with stitching.

Her simple workshop shows how easy it is to make.
