Approx 56" square this pattern comes with all the instructions needed PLUS a set of wobby eyes that add that extra bit of sillyness.

Dawn obviously uses her Invisible Machine Applique to sew these chickens onto their background;  another handy tip is to ensure that you  have an open-toed applique foot to give extra visibility.   You can find this on the site in the Patchwork accessories section.
