Complete your UFOs with Alison Smith:
Bring a garment you are making or wish to make and Alison will draw on her fabulous wealth of experience to help with fit, techniques and embellishments. Whether you choose a beautifully fitted blouse, cocktail dress, soft lingerie, sassy skirt or speed tailored jacket, Alison will guide you through the process so even if you don’t get it finished, you will be able to do so with confidence at home.

Make a Roman Blind & Fabulously Cushion Covers with Janet Moville:
Make and take home a stylish Roman blind to fit a window perfectly and sew some sumptuous cushion covers to complete a room makeover. Janet will guide you through the steps of Roman blind making from accurate measuring to completion and then you will then share her professional secrets to make cushion covers that stand out, such as jumbo piping, piecing, invisible zip insertion and more.

Creative Free-motion Stitching for All with Jennie Rayment:
Play with design, experiment with shape, add a new dimension to your work by painting with thread to create textured surfaces. From applique to couching, bottom bobbin work to top stitching, quilting to embroidery, this is a class for all who wish to explore the full potential of free motion stitchery. Many different techniques will be covered from the very basic steps to creative customising.

The venue:
As usual Creative Sewing Weekends are held in Dunford House, a beautiful 18th century house, set in 60 acres of beautiful woodland. All rooms are en-suite and the package includes full-board plus evening entertainment and workshops on Saturday and Sunday. (We can also offer day rates for those not wishing to stay in the House and partner rates for those who wish to bring a partner.) We also offer a 20% reduction for those willing to share a bedroom.

The weekends start at 5pm Friday and finish at 4pm Sunday.

Your hosts
The events are hosted by Sewing World Editor Wendy Gardiner and Fabric Manipulator Jennie Rayment, who are on hand throughout the weekend to ensure you have a relaxing, trouble-free weekend.

Spaces are limited to no more than 35 students per weekend, so please book early to avoid disappointment. (Please note, we need to receive cheque (payable to J Rayment) with booking form by post, we do not have credit card facilities).
