Infinity Squares:Infinity Squares is a square within a square technique which results in a colourful artistic quilt with geometric designs using colour and shape to give the illusion of 3D patterns.

Tuesday 29th September 2015

Undulations:This stimulating workshop explores pattern, colour and technique to make the illusion of diamond shapes curving up and down through this prize winning quilt.

Wednesday 30th September

Twisting Triads:A vibrant pattern is achieved by pairing tones in a range of contrasting fabric strips.

Valerie Nesbitt 6th/7th/8th Oct 2015

Tues 6th: Disappearing blocks -these are such fun and easy to do;  9 Patch is perhaps the most well-known but there are other options also available.

Wed 7th:Fast Flying Geese with no waste;  this is a technique that Valerie employs a lot in her patchwork as there are no triangles to cut and you make 4 at once!

Thurs 8th: Scrap Braids;  a great use of a simple shape – the rectangle – with our without chimney stones;  make a real dent in those scraps and no need to worry about colour – anything and everything goes!

Alternative option with a Christmas theme – a little 3 pocket wallhanging that uses your lovely fabric or indeed a pre-printed panel.

Beginners always welcome
