Tea cosies seem to have fallen out of fashion a little bit but even if you don’t use it to cover the teapot, the cosy could be usedf to cover some other kitchen item such as a biscuit jar or just purely as decoration on shelving.

Non-fattening cake and buns decorate this delightful tea cosy with co-ordinating coasters and Gail has added a full alphabet into the pattern so that you can personalize the tearoom.

The patterns use fused applique which can be machine or hand stitched – but you could convert these to traditional applique designs by just adding seam allowance.
