Intro To Rosebud Fayre - Block of the Month
Rosebud Fayre Quilt Series with Jennie Rayment and Valerie Nesbitt • Educational, G, 01-Feb-2024
Jennie & Valerie guide you through making this lovely quilt in instalments. Subsequently it is a perfect project for beginners, but there will also be some challenges for those more accomplished sewers.
The Rosebud Fayre Medallion quilt was originally made with the Rosebud Fayre fabrics designed by Gail Kessler. As these fabrics are no longer available. Why not take the opportunity to pick fabrics from you stash. Particularly picking up a current fabric range or something from your favourite designer is also an option
Fabrics requirement are:
Background 2.75m
Feature fabrics 2 0.75cm
Pale pink 0.75cm
Mid pink 0.75cm
Deep pink 0.75cm
2nd deep pink 0.75cm
Pale sludge green 0.75cm
Mid sludge green 0.75cm
Deep sludge green 0.75cm
2nd deep sludge green 0.75cm
Binding - could be scraps 0.50cm
When making the quilt you have an option to make this rectangular with a different border option. The above fabric will allow for that.
The requirements allow for choice rather than being specific and the two feature fabrics have been counted as a single entity in terms of quantity.
